A Bit About Me
Alex Melinyshyn is a Neurologist with subspecialty expertise in Headache Medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at Queen’s University, neurology residency at Western University, and a fellowship in Headache Medicine at the University of Calgary.
Based in London, Ontario, Alex runs a community-focused practice in headache and general neurology. He serves as a Board Member and Chair of the Advocacy Committee for the Canadian Headache Society and is a Scientific Advisor to Migraine Canada.
He is actively involved in initiatives aimed at improving access to emerging therapies and enhancing system-level headache care.
His research interests include phase II–IV trials of novel migraine treatments and the use of psilocybin in psychiatric and headache disorders.
