National Neurology Resident Headache Course

Each year, neurology residents from across Canada come together to learn about headache and interact with headache specialists. This year, we welcome internationally renowned speakers Dr David Dodick (Professor Emeritus, Mayo Arizona), and Dr Stephanie Nahas (Associate Professor, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital).

It gives us great pleasure to extend an invitation to all Canadian neurology residents at the R2 and R3 levels (as of Oct 2023) or for R4s and R5s who have not attended the course previously.

Learning Objectives

After attending this course, participants should be better able to:

  • Identify and diagnose primary and secondary headache disorders;

  • Describe the pathology and disease progression of migraine;

  • Formulate an approach to multimodal management of a patient with migraine;

  • Evaluate headache treatment options through the life cycle.
